Kallie, Our Hearing Dog Sponsor Puppy
The setting has decided to become a sponsor for a hearing puppy in training and this little cutie is Kallie.
Kallie is the eldest of a litter of eleven with 6 brothers and 4 sisters. She has just begun her training to, one day, be a fully fledged hearing dog. We have heard she is a very confident little girl but that she is very patient and loves a cuddle, and who could resist giving those cute chops a cuddle. She has earned a reputation as a snorer and enjoys sleeping on her back with her paws in the air. She enjoys lots of fun and games and we are sure she will be a fantastic hearing dog when she grows up.
April Update
Kallie is now halfway through her Puppy Two Star and is beginning to be introduced to distractions, this will enable her to become used to unexpected and exciting situations in the big wide world but be able to have self-control and become a fantastic hearing dog. She is still as energetic as ever and enjoying being a playful, inquisitive and bright little puppy, with lots of cuddles from her trainers too.
Kallie has made friends with Selwyn who she stays with, they enjoy eating together and having a play before a nap together
