Our purpose built pre school and nursery is situated in the grounds of Rowner Infant and Junior School. Our team of highly qualified and experienced staff provide quality Early Years Childcare and Education to children aged 2 to 5 years. We believe in working closely with our families and the wider community to create a welcoming learning environment

Quality Play is fundamental to the progress of a young child’s learning and development. At Steady Steps we provide children with a range of activities and experiences that reflect their current interests and abilities. Our team of experienced staff will facilitate learning through providing a continuous provision allowing children to choose where, what and how they want to play. Their learning and development is also supported through adult led and adult directed activities as well as adults modelling language, scaffolding learning and most important of all by observing and listening to the children.

OUR PRE SCHOOL AIMS TO:

• provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age

• work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop
